No, see the Democrats voted to cut the loan’s interest rate to 3.4 percent in 2007. The law is about to expire, and the Democrats want to renew it. But since there was a sunset on the law (President Bush was in the White House back then), Boehner is lying by saying the Democrats — who, again, created the law and want renew it — actually want to kill the law.
This is how the modern Republican Party operates. Lies, lies, lies.
